Iran Involvement Suspected in West Virginia Explosion

The Pentagon is investigating whether a recent explosion at a gas station in West Virginia was carried out by Iranians or Iranian-trained operatives, two officials from separate U.S. government agencies said.

?People are looking at it seriously,? one of the officials said

At least four people were killed and at least two critically injured Tuesday when an explosion leveled a gas station in this southern West Virginia city, officials said.

?The whole building is leveled,? Moore said. ?We are digging through the debris now, trying to confirm how many were actually working, how many customers they had, how many were at the gas pump.?

Both officials stressed the Iranian-involvement theory is a preliminary view, and there is no final conclusion. They agreed this possibility is being looked at because of the sophistication of the attack and the level of coordination.

?This was beyond what we have seen West Virginians do,? the second official said.

i live in West Virginia, and some of the people that were injured and killed in the blast were aquaintances. Number one, anyone who uses a tragedy like this as an opportunity to make themselves look cute, is just pathetic and sad. It?s pretty bad when you are so attention starved that you have to make jokes about the deaths of innocent people to make yourself feel better. Secondly, so far as i know, West Virginians are not known for blowing things up, lmao. So yeah? i suppose it IS ?beyond what we have seen West Virginians do??.
*rme*? The whole article was sheer idiocy. I LIVE here, and i have not once heard that theory advanced, anywhere. I highly doubt that if terrorists were going to blow something up, it would be a gas station in the middle of basically nowhere. There has not been one word in fact, indicating in any way that this was anything more than a tragic accident.

and yes, i suppose it?s true that generally speaking, we are not a ?high-value American target?, such as NY, and etc. But the people killed? were still people. They had parents, siblings, friends, and children that are grieving over them. One of the firefighters that died in the blast was only 21. Yeah. Makes me want to crack jokes. *rme*.

lol, i suppose. surely to god this is completely false... i mean, yeah, yeah, homeland security should be paying close attention to things... but erm. that's a little much. *L*... i mean, we have a HUGE chemical plant about 45 minutes away... that would have made MUCH more of a mess... it's the equal of the one in India ages ago that blew up.
